The Quantum Universe
"I've named this place ' Subquark Space '."
The Freak Aoke walked across the black earth, leaning on his tree-knot cane. "'Subquark,' as the name suggests, is like a 'subatomic,' though it only has one more 'sub,' but its volume is countless times smaller than a quark. As for exactly how many times smaller... I'm afraid no one knows the answer."
"To be precise, we are still in the Metaverse."
"However, we are currently extremely, extremely, extremely small, almost to the point of non-existence."
"It is also because of our insignificance that we are now able to access the quantum realm."
"In other words, we may be the quantum state that many scientists are pursuing, or the legendary quantum humans."
"The creatures here are all at the quantum level."
That brings us to this.
Suddenly, a pool of black muddy water surged up from beneath the Freak Aoke's feet. This muddy water seemed to have a mind of its own, wrapping around his neck and rubbing against it as if it were being affectionate, before disappearing back into the ground.
"Hehe."
Can you imagine that there is a complete ecosystem in the microscopic world?
"Shrink to a certain size, and the system will become visible."
The Freak Aoke surveyed the land ahead. "The Gemini Superbrain's plan for the Metaverse is a one-to-one replica of the physical world. It possesses unimaginable insight, observation, and knowledge."
In other words, it is highly likely that such a 'quantum world' also exists in the physical world.
"In the physical world, we cannot shrink ourselves to a 'subquark' state, so we will never see such a scene."
"But the Gemini Superbrain presented it using a special medium like the Metaverse."
For example.
"In the physical world, within a small bedroom of ours, there exist trillions upon trillions of such quantum worlds, each with its own ecosystem."
"Doesn't this resemble the physical universe?"
"Every quantum world is a celestial body that has given birth to life, and the cosmic boundary that they can never explore in their lifetime is actually the wall of our bedroom."
At this moment, the Underworld tilted his head slightly, covered his mouth with his hand, and said to the Caregiver, "Has this Big Head been holding back his words for over ten years and gone mad? What the hell is he spouting?"
But Qin Yiguan and the Caregiver listened intently, their eyes gleaming.
Have you ever thought about this?
As the Freak Aoke walked, he said, "The physical universe is also in this form. In the eyes of higher life forms, it is nothing more than a 'quantum universe,' just an existence in their room that is countless times smaller than a speck of dust."
The group fell silent for a moment.
Some things are shocking, yet elusive and intangible; they are not the answers one should be pursuing at this moment.
"You've been stuck here for so long."
Qin Yiguan suddenly said, "You must have tried to escape from here more than once, right?"
The Freak Aoke looked at the pitch-black, colorless, lifeless, desolate, and boundless world before him.
"I've tried countless times."
A clear look of despair flashed in the eyes of the Freak Aoke. "Not just me, they've tried countless times too."
He had barely finished speaking.
But ahead, there was a small hill, and at the very top of the hill, like a little girl's pigtails sticking up, grew a solitary black tree.
Suddenly, the leaves on the tree, which were still quite lush, began to flutter, like countless tiny wings.
Then the tree, along with the black hill that was at least 50 meters in diameter, rose straight into the air and flew further and further away until it disappeared into the black sky.
The Underworld pointed at the scene in the sky, his eyes wide, "Huh... can that even move? Holy crap!"
But that's not the point.
Qin Yiguan discovered that there were countless figures standing on the open ground behind the hill.
They were almost all draped in linen cloaks, and their designs were very similar to those of the Freak Aoke.
Judging from their silhouettes, these people have enormous heads.
The Caregiver adjusted the brim of his hat, his eyes darting around, and said, "Could this be...?"
The Freak Aoke sighed deeply, "172 Core Aoke throughout history."
But then they saw those figures simultaneously lift the burlap hoods off their heads.
Sure enough, despite the slight differences in their faces, they were all unmistakably Big-Headed Aoke!
These Aoke varied in age, some being teenagers, while others were estimated to be in their sixties or seventies.
Some Aoke even had their heads modified, with half of their large heads replaced with mechanical parts, and one mechanical eye emitting a red glow in the dark.
Some Aoke rode in a huge mecha, their entire bodies nearly ten meters tall.
Some Aoke have undergone some kind of muscle enhancement; their minds remain unchanged, but their bodies resemble those of muscular monsters.
There was another Aoke, without a body or skull, only a pink brain, immersed in a glass tank equipped with an anti-gravity device.
"I am the 5th generation Core Aoke! I built Metaverse warship for the Ao Council!"
"I am the 7th generation Core Aoke! I have gathered 18,000 Aoke counterparts!"
"I am the 26th generation Core Aoke. It was I who conceived of using a particle accelerator to bombard the Source Matter!"
"I am the 102nd generation Core Aoke, and I have discovered the Easter egg in the Gemini Superbrain!"
"I am the 115th-Generation Core Aoke. I was only in office for 1 minute and 34 seconds before my lieutenant took me down and dumped me here!"
"I am the 116th generation Core Aoke, and I am the adjutant!"
Various Aoke were in an uproar.
The Underworld narrowed his eyes. "Every Aoke has made some contribution, but something strange seems to have gotten mixed in?"
It was at this time.
A dark shadow crawled out from the crowd of Aoke. It moved forward at an incredible speed, like a vengeful ghost crawling out of Hell. It crawled directly to Qin Yiguan's feet, and its muddy fingernails grabbed Qin Yiguan's right foot.
Qin Yiguan lowered his head slightly and saw that this was also a Big-Headed Aoke, except that his lower body had disappeared. The cut at his waist was black charcoal. He seemed to have escaped from the fire, but his lower body had been burned and charred to pieces.
The Aoke with bloodshot eyes stared, "I am the 172nd Core Aoke, the newest one! I've only been here for two months! I was murdered by a Aoke called ' Single Horn,' he's a devil! He burned me with flames and then detonated my String of Jumping! Single Horn is now the leader of the Ao Council!"
The half- Aoke, clinging to Qin Yiguan's leg, screamed hysterically, "You're his enemies, aren't you? The enemy of my enemy is my friend! I'm going to kill the Single Horn! I'm going to kill him! I'll tear him to pieces and burn him!"
Immediately.
The half- Aoke crawled on the ground again, grabbing the Caregiver's leg, his bloodshot eyes glaring as he said, "Don't worry, I am a mutated Aoke, I possess powerful divine strength! I will bestow this power upon you! With just a thought, I can flip the Metaverse; with another thought, I can destroy Metaverse!"
Thump!
Thump!
But then the Freak Aoke poked the ground with his burl cane and said to the Muscle Ao in the distance, "Drag him away..."
Immediately.
The Freak Aoke looked at Qin Yiguan and said with an awkward smile, "Sorry, No. 172 suffered too much of a blow and has developed some mental problems."
"I have no mental problems!"
"I am not No. 172, I am the Jade Emperor!"
"I only need a single thought to destroy everything. Now, whoever gives me five dollars, I only need to eat a pack of instant noodles to grant you the most powerful force to destroy the entire universe!"
The voice of the unpleasant Aoke faded into the distance, carried away by the noise.
"Well..."
"What you see is only a portion of those imprisoned; many Core Aoke have long since died."
The Freak Aoke sighed, "I really regret inventing that ' Multiverse Jump String.' I truly wish the Ao Council had never existed, and all the Aoke counterparts had no idea what the Metaverse was, and had simply lived quietly in their own universes until their lifespans ended..."
"Of course, time cannot be reversed."
The Freak Aoke looked at the Core Aoke of past generations before him and said, word by word, "We've all reached a consensus: if we manage to escape one day, the first thing we must do is disband the Ao Council. If they refuse to obey, then we'll destroy it."
