Captive
Aoke Universe.
The Single Horn Aoke peeked out the window.
AIK Aoke stood at a distance, diligently working on the control panel on his arm, whose permissions were set to A2 level, meticulously constructing this void continent inch by inch.
The so-called A2 level refers to construction rights, which grants significantly higher privileges than ordinary Aoke -level units.
But that was limited to construction; he didn't even have much control over it.
"In just over a day, the area of Aoke Universe has increased from 22 kilometers to 32 kilometers."
"What an excellent... tool."
The Single Horn smiled contentedly and called towards the door, "Come in."
Outside the door, Blue Blood Aoke, captain of the Third Guard Squad of the Ao Council, had been waiting for a long time.
Squeak.
The simple wooden door was pushed open.
The Blue Blood Aoke, dressed in combat gear, slowly walked into the room. His appearance was very similar to that of the other Aoke. He was about 1.5 meters tall, with a large head on his short body.
But Blue Blood Aoke, along with the inhabitants of the Metaverse 395 in which he was born, share a common characteristic.
Their blood is blue.
This causes their skin to appear bluish-green.
As the captain of the guard team, Blue Blood Aoke also has some unique characteristics, namely, beneath his bluish skin are bulging and firm muscles.
Almost all of these Aoke are physically weak and frail; in terms of basic physical attributes, they are all weaklings.
Blue Blood Aoke was originally a weakling.
But with his extraordinary perseverance, he managed to build up a muscular physique, and in terms of physical strength alone, he was among the top in the entire Ao Council.
The Blue Blood Aoke had sharp eyes and even walked with a somewhat imposing air.
He bowed slightly. "Good afternoon, Core Aoke."
Immediately.
He placed the transparent, sealed box, about the size of a shoebox, in front of the Core Aoke and respectfully stepped back.
"Our Core Aoke."
"I went to the location where the Sniper Aoke, as you commanded."
The Blue Blood Aoke glanced at the sealed box. "I've collected all the residue inside; there's absolutely nothing missing. Please check."
"Um."
The Core Aoke responded and looked down at the transparent box.
All that could be seen were a handful of very fine glass shards, a handful of tiny alloy fragments, and some brown soil.
This was indeed an order issued by the Core Aoke.
To be precise, he issues the same order whenever a Aoke entity dies abnormally or self-destructs.
--Make sure to retrieve the Metaverse String of Jumping. If the String of Jumping has already exploded, then retrieve all the fragments, leaving not a single one behind.
Because he had to ensure that this crucial technology supporting the Ao Council did not fall into the hands of any outsiders!
"Well done."
The Single Horn Aoke looked up at the Blue Blood Aoke and clearly saw that the beam pistol at his waist was now just a holster, and the sleeve blade on his wrist had also been removed.
This is also the rule for our Core Aoke.
Before entering this office, all weapons must be removed.
The Single Horn looked up, a smile playing on its lips, tinged with anticipation, and asked, "You said outside the door that you'd captured a ' Qin Yiguan '? Where is he?"
The Blue Blood Aoke nodded and then stepped aside.
But behind him stood a boy of about eighteen or nineteen, dressed in a black shirt and black jeans.
But at this moment, the boy was bound by layers of shackles.
His arm was twisted behind his back and secured with an alloy handcuff. It couldn't even be called a handcuff; it was more like a 30-centimeter-thick alloy cuboid, completely sealing the boy's hand inside.
The boy's mouth was also encircled by a metal band that flashed with a red, technological light, obscuring his face below his nose.
The boy's feet, below the knees, were also sealed by a heavy, seamless metal cube, making it impossible for him to take a step.
Buzz...
They saw the boy placed on a flat transport device, which started up and slowly pushed the boy in black closer to the Core Aoke.
The Core Aoke, who were not particularly afraid of Qin Yiguan to begin with, became even more relaxed upon seeing the tight sealing device.
"Is he Qin Yiguan?"
"What I mean is, this is the counterpart of Qin Yiguan?"
As soon as the Core Aoke raised his hand, the Mechanical Throne put a nano-level antibacterial glove on his palm. He then slowly stepped forward, pinched ' Qin Yiguan's' cheek with his gloved hand, and then pried open his eyelids to observe ' Qin Yiguan's' eyeballs.
This ' Qin Yiguan ' was unable to move his hands and feet, nor could he make a sound; he could only stare intently at the Core Aoke with a fierce gaze.
"Tsk tsk..."
The Core Aoke shook his head. "Is that all there is to it?"
Immediately.
The mechanical throne extended its mechanical arm, removed his gloves, and placed them directly in the incinerator for immediate destruction.
The Core Aoke paced around the room for a moment, then turned back to the Blue Blood Aoke and asked, "Are you sure this is Qin Yiguan?"
"Absolutely true."
Blue Blood Aoke lowered his head slightly. "Twenty minutes ago, I went to the 335th Metaverse to assassinate Qin Yiguan there. After a fierce battle, I knocked Qin Yiguan unconscious. I immediately changed my purpose and decided to bring him back, because I think you would definitely be very interested in him."
"Oh, is that so?"
The Core Aoke nodded, then suddenly frowned. "My valiant Blue Blood Guard Captain, I clearly gave the order to stop pursuing Qin Yiguan! Why did you ignore it? Why didn't you obey, and instead brought Qin Yiguan right before me?!"
But then Blue Blood Aoke's expression changed. "I'm sorry, Core Aoke, I really didn't know you had given the order. I was fighting Qin Yiguan and then traveling with him, so I really didn't have time to check the order information! You know I'm extremely loyal!"
"Is that so?"
Core Aoke narrowed his eyes slightly, slowly sat on the mechanical throne, and with a slight lift of his finger, the virtual panel on Blue Blood Aoke's arm lit up automatically.
The Core Aoke's fingers twitched slightly.
Blue Blood Aoke's personal system ran automatically, the interface changed, and finally stopped at the 'Core Commands' section.
However, the first message in this column clearly stated, "Issued by the Core Aoke 21 minutes and 53 seconds ago."
The Core Aoke's finger tapped in the air.
The message was opened instantly.
"To slow down the plan to assassinate Qin Yiguan's counterpart, I don't know why, but I suddenly don't want to eliminate enemies for AKI. I think it would be better to leave some constraints on him."
The Core Aoke clicked on the void again.
The deeper data behind this message was retrieved.
--21 minutes and 50 seconds ago, the message was marked as 'read', and the reader was the user of this personal system, the captain of the Third Guard Squad of the Ao Council, Blue Blood Aoke.
"All right."
But then the Blue Blood Aoke in the office suddenly shrugged. "I did read the order, but rest assured, I sincerely don't want to obey it!"
It was at this time.
Suddenly, the Blue Blood Aoke reached for the back of Qin Yiguan's neck. As Qin Yiguan let out a low growl and scream, the Blue Blood Aoke pulled a short sword that gleamed with a dark luster from Qin Yiguan's spine.
In an instant, the Blue Blood Aoke, wielding a short sword and with a chilling gaze, charged towards the Single Horn, shouting, "Because I intend to replace you!"
