At the Sea of Stars Community, Xi Yan finished speaking. Below the podium, a young man with healthy, wheat-colored skin rose beside Bai Fengfeng, Grand Marshal of the United Nations of Earth.
He walked onto the stage, passing Xi Yan.

Xi Yan stared into Sidney Berkeley's brown eyes with a grim but resolute gaze.

Xi Yan stepped down and stood to one side with his arms folded, while Sidney solemnly gripped the edges of the lectern with both hands.
"The Human Federation was born of the United Nations of Earth. From beginning to end, we have upheld the supremacy of the human bloodline. We shall protect ourselves with overwhelming fleets and military might, and continually expand our interests into the universe."
