With a higher-dimensional soul serving as the anchor, the rest of the Ascension Plan became quite simple.
In Jadiga's new theory of ascension, when raising the original lower-dimensional universe into higher dimensions, the anchor could connect it to the higher-dimensional universe. This would allow the universe to develop its own higher-dimensional laws in parallel as it ascended.
The material universe, however, needed to be restructured.

They needed to gather the Milky Way, scattered over multiple eras, and make the black holes disgorge all the matter they had swallowed, ensuring that a new, enormous Milky Way Galaxy would emerge after ascension. Otherwise, they would lack the strength to contend with the original higher-dimensional universe.
