"Ralu~"
Ralts sat beside the desk, holding a baby bottle and sucking gently.
Ye Qing had his head down, furiously copying the Type Matchup Chart.
Monferno was temporarily playing babysitter, making funny faces to keep Ralts entertained.
"How long is this going to take...?"
Ye Qing put down his pen, feeling as though his head was about to explode.
"Ha-cha."
Monferno unscrewed the baby bottle, poured in another bottleful of fresh milk, and handed it to Ralts.
"La~"
Ralts happily swung her little legs, a ring of milk clinging around her lips.
"Monferno."
At the sight, Ye Qing's eyes lit up, and a brilliant plan suddenly came to him.
"Ha?"
Monferno scratched his head, unsure why his trainer was staring at him like that.
"Want to learn to write? I can teach you if you do." Ye Qing chuckled, revealing his true colors.
Hearing that he was going to learn to write, Monferno immediately clapped happily and crouched beside Ye Qing, ready to learn.
Ye Qing handed Monferno the Type Matchup Chart. "See what I've written here?"
"Ha-cha."
Monferno nodded. He couldn't understand what was written on it, but he wasn't blind. Of course he could see it.
Ye Qing smiled. "Good. The first step in learning to write is copying this. Copy it once so I can take a look."
"Ha?"
Monferno scratched his head, feeling that something was off, though he couldn't say exactly what.
"Here, I'll teach you."
Ye Qing held Monferno's hand, first teaching him how to hold the pen, then guiding him through writing step by step.
Monferno really was exceptionally bright and picked up everything quickly. Although he still didn't understand what the words meant, copying what he saw was no problem.
The only difficulty was that he had only
