Ye Qing knew what he was thinking. He simply wanted to know where his own kind were, or perhaps wanted Ye Qing to give him the conviction to keep searching.
"You do have others of your kind, but they should all be sealed away now."
Giant Dragonite immediately grew excited at that, his thick tail lashing rapidly against the ground.
Boom!
Watching the cliff behind him crack under his tail, Ye Qing marveled and could not help swallowing.
"I don't know exactly where they were sealed, but if I'm not mistaken, one of them was sealed inside something resembling a dumbbell.
"Another was sealed inside a spoon, and the third was sealed inside a bronze bell."
Giant Dragonite listened attentively. This was the best news he had heard in all these years.
Yet a trace of confusion also showed in his eyes. For some reason, he felt that this boy was not lying, and his descriptions sounded as though he had witnessed it himself.
Regardless, Giant Dragonite regained his confidence after hearing Ye Qing's words.
He believed that as long as his own kind still existed, he would find them one day!
Having resolved Giant Dragonite's doubts, Ye Qing wanted to ask whether places such as Dragon Island actually existed overseas, so he could get himself a Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon to raise.
But before he could ask, Giant Dragonite gently set them on the ground, rummaged among the scales on his back, and held out a small object to Ye Qing between two claws.
"Is this a bone?"
Ye Qing carefully accepted it. Only after examining it repeatedly did he realize that the thing in his hand was none other than the bone of an unknown Pokémon.
Giant Dragonite nodded, then smiled, raised his hand to his mouth, and blew hard.
