The family had a peaceful dinner together that evening. When Ye Qing got up early the next morning, he discovered that only he and his mom were left at home.
"Son, the keys to the manor are here. Hurry up and get out of bed so you can pack."
"Okay, let me sleep a little longer..."
Ye Qing was terribly sleepy. Seeing that it was only seven in the morning, he pulled the covers over his head and went straight back to sleep.
Unable to do anything about him, Ye Mom could only put the breakfast she had prepared into an insulated box.
"Let's get to work!"
At noon, after washing up, Ye Qing glanced at the sun outside and decided to start moving.
Ye Qing took a quick look around. "We really do have a lot of stuff."
Ye Mom nodded. "Yes, we've bought so many things since moving here. We can't just throw them all away."
Ye Qing thought for a moment, then pointed at the roughly two-meter-long bed. "No problem. Aerodactyl, come over here. I'm leaving my bed to you."
"Aw?"
Aerodactyl pointed a claw at himself, thinking, This bed is almost as big as I am. How am I supposed to fly with it on my back?
Naturally, Ye Qing knew what he was thinking. "You don't have to carry it on your back. Just suspend it with ropes."
Seeing that his master had made up his mind, Aerodactyl could only hang his head and accept his fate.
Ye Mom gave Aerodactyl a sympathetic look. "Son, why don't we hire a moving company?"
Ye Qing refused. "No, the whole city is being rebuilt right now, and plenty of people are moving to different homes.
"If we hire a moving company, who knows how long we'll have
