Nick sighed in relief after hearing him out. He knew Ye Qing was right. If Sky City's energy core was destroyed, the city would surely be destroyed as well.
Ye Qing patted Nick on the shoulder. "Right, so I'll hold Balk off, while you and Magearna handle the energy core."
"Ba-ga-boo!"
Magearna nodded, indicating that it would definitely complete the mission!
Then it went over to Volcanion and offered him a bouquet of flowers.
Looking at the flowers his sweetheart had given him, Volcanion blew two jets of steam from his nostrils and said eagerly, "Let's go! Let's storm Sky City right now!"
They flew through the sky for a long time, but unfortunately, Sky City was nowhere in sight.
Lying on Flygon's back, Nick said in puzzlement, "That's strange. There's no sign of Sky City anywhere nearby. Could Balk have already left?"
Ye Qing pondered for a moment. "Probably not. If I'm right, Buckle must know our location. He's only doing this to exhaust Volcanion's water supply before making his move against us."
"Exhaust my water supply? In his dreams!"
Volcanion was furious when he heard Ye Qing's words. He hadn't expected that bastard Balk to be plotting against him!
He might have let it slide normally, but Magearna was here now. Wasn't this a slap in his face?
Ye Qing thought for a moment, then glanced at Gardevoir. "Gardevoir, use Teleport to move us around at random."
"Garde."
Gardevoir immediately understood its master's meaning and swiftly vanished into the night sky with everyone.
After a series of Teleports, Buckle finally lost track of Ye Qing and the others' location.
"Boss, bad news! Nick's location has disappeared from the radar!"
"Gather everyone. They're coming."
Balk cut off his subordinate's report and walked outside
