Congratulations, enhancement successful!
After Tang Hao used the Enhancer, a mechanical voice soon rang in his ears.
"Just like that, it's at +11?"
He could hardly believe it. Was reaching +11 really this easy?
"If I'd known, I would've enhanced it to +11 long ago!"
Feeling his soul ring's age soar, Tang Hao couldn't help muttering.
Of course, it was too late to say any of that now.
He might as well have a little excitement before he died.
I want to see where my limit is.
With that thought, Tang Hao took out another Enhancer, once again targeting his ninth soul ring.
The Enhancer activated, and the soul ring fell into it.
Before long, the familiar mechanical voice sounded again. "Congratulations, enhancement successful!"
"Huh? Am I dreaming? Even +12 succeeded?"
Tang Hao's eyes widened.
It truly proved the old saying: flowers carefully planted refused to bloom, while a willow casually stuck in the earth grew into a canopy of shade.
Immediately afterward, Tang Hao felt a powerful force pour into his body.
Without a doubt, this was the feedback from enhancing his soul ring.
"What a pity. Such a terrible pity."
Tang Hao felt little delight. Instead, endless regret welled up in his heart.
It came back to the same thing.
He was about to die. What use was even the greatest power?
In the end, it would only leave him with more regrets.
"I'll enhance it once more and see if I can push it to +13."
All Tang Hao wanted now was to see how many times he could successfully enhance it.
These Enhancement Scrolls and Enhancers were things he hadn't brought into the world and couldn't take out of it. He'd finally gotten them from the jars; not using them would be a waste.
