The battle continued.
"This ends here, Inuyasha." Sesshomaru walked slowly toward Inuyasha, radiating a silent, oppressive force.
"Damn it, what am I supposed to do? One swing of Tessaiga, and he'll wipe out everything." Cold sweat trickled down Inuyasha's temple.
Inuyasha hid behind Evil Spirit's mountainous body. Miroku's Wind Tunnel had sucked in half of him earlier, leaving the remaining half sprawled on the ground as a temporary shield for Inuyasha.
Sesshomaru raised the sword lightly. Without even using Tessaiga's ultimate technique, Wind Scar, the force of his swing shattered the corpse into fragments that filled the air.
The battlefield fell silent in an instant.
"Dead already...?" Sesshomaru stared expressionlessly at the pile of fragments.
"You're underestimating me!" Inuyasha twitched his ears, crawled out of the wreckage, and lunged at Sesshomaru.
"Hmph." Sesshomaru dodged Inuyasha's claws, raised Tessaiga, and slashed at him.
Inuyasha swiftly drew the scabbard from his waist and blocked Tessaiga's sharp strike.
Sesshomaru's eyes widened slightly. Inuyasha, you thought to use the scabbard to block Tessaiga. At least you haven't disappointed me too badly.
With the scabbard, Inuyasha held off several of Sesshomaru's attacks, but Sesshomaru soon knocked it from his hands.
