"So, for this so-called Great Dao Strife, they would stop at nothing, even if blood flowed in rivers and corpses covered the fields?"
"In your world, cultivators capable of Liberation by Violence are at least sect masters, if not ancestor-level figures. As long as they can extend their lives, why would they care about any of that?"
Fairy Lingyue spoke indifferently.
Once again, Xu Taiping felt the cold ruthlessness of the Cultivation World.
But with Fairy Lingyue's reminder, he did indeed catch a whiff of conspiracy in the conflict between the White Tree Kingdom and Wujiao Country.
"The way out of the Sixth Princess's certain death may lie in this Dao strife, and the key to that strife lies in unsealing and breaking seals. But between the Sixth Princess and the Emperor of Wujiao Country, which is the one unsealing, and which is the one breaking?"
Xu Taiping murmured to himself as he pondered the matter intently.
"Taiping, do you still want to break the deadlock and save the Sixth Princess?"
Fairy Lingyue suddenly asked Xu Taiping with a smile.
"She can die anywhere, just not in Wujiao Country's Imperial Palace."
Xu Taiping's gaze was firm as he spoke.
He had finally made it to the last stage of this training mission after so much difficulty. Even knowing this was a death trap, he did not want all his previous efforts to go to waste just like that.
Fairy Lingyue giggled at his words.
"But I advise you to prepare for the worst. Unless we can learn which of those three-the Imperial Consort, the Sixth Princess, and the Emperor of Wujiao Country-are Exiled Immortals, and what their respective Dao Seals are, there is simply no way out of this death trap."
She then reminded Xu Taiping, her expression turning serious.
