After a tremendous crash, Xu Taiping and Old Daoist Huang watched in astonishment as the lower half of the Primordial Lord's face was blasted apart by the strike.
Xu Taiping murmured:
"Who would have thought that, working with Senior Li Daoyan, the Pearl Relic House Master's Thunder Technique alone could have such power?"
Beside him, Old Daoist Huang nodded and said:
"Though my current realm is higher than Li Daoyan's, in killing power and the depth of True Essence, Qi and Blood, and even Divine Soul Power, I still fall far short of him."
"That is precisely why, with his help, Cloud Crane and Pearl Relic can wield power far beyond their present cultivation realms."
Xu Taiping nodded and said:
"The Spirit Pearl in Senior Li Daoyan's hand does indeed possess that power."
As the two spoke, another violent tremor rang out. The Black Crystal that had fallen from the Primordial Lord's shattered cheek suddenly turned into a black hurricane, sweeping toward the Cloud Tower with incomparable ferocity, carrying the immense surge it had raised from the water.
Judging by the power Xu Taiping sensed within that hurricane, never mind a Cloud Tower-even a city standing before it would probably have been erased from the ground on the spot.
Yet almost as that thought crossed Xu Taiping's mind, something the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord had just said flashed through it-
"Seize the right moment!"
At that thought, without so much as looking at the Cloud Tower behind him, he immediately shouted to Old Daoist Huang beside him through voice transmission, "Elder Huang, we can move now!"
Hearing this, Old Daoist Huang said nothing. He seized Xu Taiping's arm and stamped hard on the ground.
Boom!
With a piercing rush through the air, Old Daoist Huang and Xu Taiping vanished together.
