Dongfang Yuejian froze. After a moment of bewilderment, she finally caught on and stammered:
"Daoist Taiping, y-you... you... you're planning to break through two realms in a single day?!"
Xu Taiping nodded.
"Yes."
Having received Xu Taiping's confirmation, Dongfang Yuejian said in disbelief:
"I originally thought you had been suppressing your source Qi and Blood and True Essence without breaking through simply to enter the Heaven Questioning Realm from the Ultimate Realm. I never imagined your ambitions were so great."
"You're actually seeking to break through both the Heaven Questioning and Heaven Shocking Realms from the Ultimate Realm!"
Xu Taiping smiled.
"As expected of Miss Dongfang. I do indeed intend to break through from the Ultimate Realm, to gain another sliver of a chance at reaching the Dao Integration Realm."
Ordinary cultivators would not even understand why anyone would seek to break through from the Ultimate Realm.
One could only say that Dongfang Yuejian's breadth of knowledge and understanding of cultivation compared favorably even with those of some Secluded Sects.
Yet upon hearing Xu Taiping's words, Dongfang Yuejian looked worried.
"Daoist Taiping, I have also read in the texts left by the Dongfang Ancestor that breaking through to the Heaven Shocking Realm from the Ultimate Realm can indeed improve one's chances of reaching the Dao Integration Realm."

Her implication was that she did not consider Xu Taiping's course of action wise.
Dongfang Yuejian immediately added:
"What's more, under the present circumstances, never mind breaking through two realms in a day-even breaking through just one would be fraught with danger."
Master Xuanzhi spoke up as well:
"Daoist Taiping, even if
