While Dongfang Yuejian spoke, Xu Taiping seemed not to have heard her at all. His gaze remained fixed, unblinking, on the Spirit Mirror in her hand.
Seeing this, Dongfang Yuejian called to Xu Taiping again in surprise:
"Eldest Brother Taiping?"
Only after hearing her call did Xu Taiping withdraw his gaze from the Spirit Mirror, murmuring thoughtfully to himself:
"Although that sword strike was tremendous, it hadn't reached the ultimate limit of this old swordsman's physical cultivation. It's understandable that it couldn't cleave through that ice."
Upon hearing this, Dongfang Yuejian beside him immediately said helplessly:
"With Elder Zheng's cultivation and combat strength, raising that sword strike to the ultimate limit would probably be even harder than having him break straight through to the Dao Integration Realm."
Master Xuanzhi also nodded slightly and said:
"Barring anything unexpected, Elder Sword Immortal Zheng's cultivation has already broken through the Heaven Shocking Realm. He's merely using a treasure to conceal his aura and avoid punishment from the Heavenly Dao Edict."
"For a Heaven Shocking Realm cultivator, even mastering an ordinary fist technique or blade technique to its ultimate limit, let alone a sword technique, would be no less difficult than breaking straight through to the Dao Integration Realm."
Dongfang Yuejian nodded.
"A mighty cultivator like Elder Sword Immortal Zheng has already reached the ultimate limit of combat strength in the Shangqing Lower Realm. To seek greater combat strength, he would have to go to the Upper Realm and advance his cultivation to the Dao Integration Realm."
As she spoke, Dongfang Yuejian turned her gaze to Xu Taiping again and asked curiously:
"Eldest Brother Taiping, what means do you intend to use to break the freezing power over the Demon God Qingnü Remnant Body?"
Xu Taiping glanced at the sword mark on the enormous
