Inside Heaven-Character Room Number One, Xu Taiping asked somewhat apprehensively as he met A Meng again.
"There's something I've been meaning to ask you."
A Meng went straight to the point.
"Please ask, Senior A Meng."
Xu Taiping nodded.
Though he appeared perfectly composed, he was a little nervous inside. Could Senior A Meng have discovered Sister Lingyue's secret?
"When I was unconscious that day, did you see any other cultivators appear in the crypt?"
A Meng asked Xu Taiping.
"No. I only saw those stalks of Jade Bone Grass rush toward the Blood Pool and kill the monster in it."
Xu Taiping answered with an earnest expression.
In truth, what he said was not wrong. Fairy Lingyue was still in Divine Soul form and could not really be counted as a cultivator.
"Then it must have been an illusion I had while unconscious."
A Meng nodded at his answer.
Xu Taiping could tell that Senior A Meng did not seem particularly concerned about it either.
"One more thing." A Meng looked up at Xu Taiping again. "Who taught you swordsmanship?"
Xu Taiping thought for a moment and felt there was nothing to hide, so he answered directly, "An elder of our Azure Profound Sect called Recluse Sansan."

A Meng first frowned, then a flicker of surprise flashed through his eyes before he nodded and said, "If I have the opportunity, I'll visit your Azure Profound Sect and pay my respects to this elder."
Xu Taiping kept feeling that there was more to A Meng's words, but it was not his place to press him, so he nodded and said, "The Azure Profound Sect would be deeply honored by your visit, Senior A Meng."
