This was the first time Xu Taiping had ever heard of this Golden Scale Assembly.
"Wait, you just said this is the Shangqing Realm's Golden Scale Assembly, held in Youyun Heaven. Does that mean the Nine Prefectures have actually been in contact with the Several Heavens all along?"
Xu Taiping suddenly realized something.
"It seems you know quite a bit too, Taiping."
Huang Que gave Xu Taiping a meaningful smile.
"In the Yunmeng Marsh Immortal Abode Ruins, I encountered the remnant soul of Duan Tianya, the former Sect Master of the Heavenly Blade Sect. Besides receiving some of his legacy, I also learned a few things from him about True Martial Heaven and the Shangqing Realm."
Xu Taiping did not hide this from Huang Que.
Now, apart from matters concerning Sister Lingyue and the Earth Fruit, he had no secrets he needed to deliberately conceal.
Huang Que was somewhat surprised by Xu Taiping's frankness.

"The Golden Scale Assembly is a grand competition between cultivators from the various heavens, held in the Shangqing Realm once every One Jiazi. After the competition, the Golden Scale Ranking is released to the Several Heavens."
