Arc 75The Second Heaven-Demon War
Xu Taiping pushed Su Chan to the brink through a fierce battle, then risked Dao Integration with Lotus Eye to gain the power to cut down Su Chan’s Golden Branch. After the Nine Abysses intervened and the Demon Mother transported them to the Ruins of the Old Heavenly Court, Xu Taiping faced Su Chan’s living avatar and reaffirmed his own identity as their fight continued.
- Xu Taiping used his God-Slaying Form and Martial Dao Extreme Laws to batter Su Chan, but Su Chan survived by shedding his shell and consuming the Golden Fruits that concealed his cultivation.
- Xu Taiping chose Dao Integration with Lotus Eye despite Fairy Lingyue’s warnings, survived the shattering of his Golden Core, and fused with the Yin God’s Great Medicine.
- Xu Taiping used Lotus Eye’s power to reverse time around Su Chan, severed the Golden Branch, and then fought on as Su Chan’s strength continued to grow.
- Xu Taiping waited for Su Chan’s completed Black Sword attack, deciphered it with the Hidden Sword Art, and countered with strikes that destroyed Su Chan’s black sphere and half his body.
- The Nine Abysses’ black swords attacked Xu Taiping after the Sword Chief Ranking named him victor, while a second Su Chan carried away the damaged body and the Demon Mother declared a second Heaven-Demon War contest.
- The Demon Mother transported Xu Taiping and Su Chan to the Ruins of the Old Heavenly Court, where Xu Taiping identified Su Chan as a living avatar created through a taboo technique.
- Su Chan turned his fallen body into Black Scale Armor and Taotie, while Xu Taiping defended his Dao and declared there could only ever be one Xu Taiping.
