Saving Hill, Obadiah's Arrogance
"Tony, go!"
Seeing Hill in danger, Luo Wen said coldly.
Without needing Luo Wen's order, Tony immediately dove down.
Bang! Bang!
As he dove, Tony fired two repulsor blasts in rapid succession, knocking Obadiah back.
When he was about ten meters above the ground, Luo Wen let go and fell from the air.
With a sideways roll, Luo Wen landed steadily.
Bang!
Obadiah was driven flying by Tony.
A trench over ten meters long was gouged into the ground.
Even with the shock absorption system, Obadiah's blood and energy churned from the impact.
"Tony!"
The moment Obadiah saw the familiar Iron Man Armor, he gritted his teeth.
He had not expected Tony to still be alive.
He should have put another bullet in him earlier.
Tony had no interest whatsoever in wasting words on Obadiah now.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Tony pinned Obadiah beneath him, swinging his fists left and right as he hammered Obadiah's head.
Obadiah's head immediately began to ring.
But he recovered quickly.
Although the Iron Monger Armor's helmet had gained a few scratches, it had not deformed in the slightest.
Obadiah felt somewhat fortunate. Half a month ago, he had used his connections to procure a batch of Level 2 Kroll Alloy to enhance the Iron Monger Armor.
Otherwise, he would have at least suffered a concussion by now.
Bang!
Tony threw another punch, but this time, it was caught firmly by Iron Monger's massive palm.
Not only that, Iron Monger's hand tightly gripped Tony's fist. With a roll and the advantage of its sheer weight, it actually pinned Tony beneath it instead!
"Haha!"
Seeing Tony pinned down beneath him, Obadiah flashed a savage grin.
He pressed his other arm against Tony's chest and used the leverage to stand up.
Then he grabbed Tony and began wildly smashing him back and forth against the ground!
"Die!"
The Iron Monger piloted by Obadiah had pushed brute force to its limit.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
For a moment, sparks flew and rubble scattered everywhere.
Driven by enormous kinetic force, the fragments of stone shot outward like bullets.
"Watch out!"
Pepper had only just recovered from her shock at Tony's rescue when she saw this scene, and her face went pale with fright!
She was far away and would not be caught in it, but Hill and the other agents were in great danger.
If they were unlucky, they could be riddled with holes!
Hill and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents beside her also had their pupils constrict.
They had not expected the battle between those two steel machines to cause such a huge disturbance!
Unfortunately, while their minds had realized the danger, their bodies could not react in time!
At the critical moment, an iron door suddenly blocked Hill's path!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The flying rubble, like a machine-gun barrage, was all blocked by the iron door.
It gave off a series of dull impacts.
Hill and the two agents beside her were left completely unharmed.
But the other four agents farther away were not so lucky.
Fragments of rubble of varying sizes instantly tore into their bodies.
"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"
The terrifying momentum sent them staggering back several meters.
For a moment, blood splattered everywhere!
Hill froze, her face pale.
She had nearly met the same gruesome fate as her colleague beside her.
Hill blanked out for two seconds before immediately turning to look beside her, wanting to see who had saved her.
"Luo Wen?"
Seeing the all-too-familiar face beside her, Hill's beautiful eyes widened in shock.
She had never imagined that the person who had descended like a divine soldier and shielded her would be her own younger brother.
Hill looked again at the iron door Luo Wen held in his hand.
It seemed to be Stark Industries' anti-theft security door. It looked like it weighed at least five or six hundred pounds!
"Hill, are you okay?"
Luo Wen looked Hill over from head to toe. Only after confirming that she was uninjured did he let out a breath of relief.
"Luo Wen, you..."
Seeing Luo Wen appear here out of nowhere, and seeing him hold up a huge iron door without the slightest strain, Hill stood there with her mouth open, not knowing what to say.
"Now isn't the time to talk. Take Pepper and leave immediately. It's dangerous here."
Luo Wen tossed aside the huge iron door in his hand. It smashed into the ground with a tremendous clang.
Hill's heart clenched, and the sound completely jolted her awake.
Seeing that Hill still had not moved, while Obadiah had already hurled Tony into the building and turned to look this way, Luo Wen said sternly, "Hurry."
"Okay!"
Although she was extremely worried about Luo Wen's safety, Hill was still subdued by his expression.
Luo Wen had always been gentle and kind around her, but whenever he wore such a serious expression, he could not be refused.
Hill exchanged glances with the other two agents, then immediately ran toward Pepper and moved her to safety.
Meanwhile, after throwing Tony into the hall, Obadiah turned and walked toward Luo Wen, who had not retreated in the slightest.
Thud! Thud!
The Iron Monger was enormous, weighing several tons. Every step it took on the ground produced a dull, heart-pounding boom.
"You've got courage, not running away!"
Seeing Luo Wen standing there calmly, Obadiah gave a disdainful smile.
"To reward you, I'll stomp you flat!"
Obadiah had never felt so inflated.
He quickened his pace and charged forward, intending to grab Luo Wen with his massive palm.
Luo Wen kept his eyes fixed on Obadiah's movements.
To be honest, although his physical abilities had reached the level of a Quasi-Martial Artist, his strength was still far inferior to that of an Iron Man Armor like the Iron Monger.
What was more, Obadiah's Iron Monger Armor was equipped with conventional weapons.
However, as Luo Wen continued observing Obadiah's movements, he gradually relaxed.
Because he had discovered the Iron Monger's weakness.
It was too slow!
The Iron Monger Armor was too large and too heavy.
On top of that, its mechanical design was somewhat crude compared to Tony's armor.
As a result, its speed and agility were poor.
Obadiah himself was only an old man.
His reaction speed was very slow.
Yet even under these circumstances, Obadiah remained so arrogant and conceited.
"You'll pay for underestimating me."
Luo Wen stared coldly at the charging Obadiah and drew a dagger from the strap along the inside of his boot.
The dagger was only a little over ten centimeters long. It was an A5 Tactical Dagger Luo Wen had bought.
This thing was incredibly sharp, enough to pierce the scales of an Intermediate Beast General-level monster.
Despite its short length, this dagger was worth 3 million Chinese Yuan.
The dagger was short, but it could break through its defenses.
If not for this dagger, Luo Wen would never have chosen to confront Obadiah head-on.
"Luo Wen, dodge!"
Hill, who had already brought Pepper to safety, saw the Iron Monger Armor's massive body reaching for Luo Wen and cried out anxiously.
Hearing Hill's shout, Obadiah's lips curled into a savage grin.
"Luo Wen? The one from Kroll Industries?"
"Interesting! Die!"
Obadiah had recognized Luo Wen's identity, but not only did he have no intention of stopping, he wanted even more to kill him.
Obadiah viciously grabbed at Luo Wen's upper body!
"Hm?"
The next second, Obadiah's expression froze!
Because just as his Iron Claw was about to seize Luo Wen, Luo Wen shifted his body slightly.
He narrowly avoided the grab by a hair's breadth!
