Background / History

Thor’s existence as the Asgardian God of Thunder becomes known to S.H.I.E.L.D. through the New Mexico incident, alongside reports of Loki, Asgard, and the Rainbow Bridge. The revelation leads Nick Fury to view Asgard as a potential extraterrestrial threat to Earth. 51

During the Battle of New York’s aftermath, Thor meets Luo Wen at the Avengers’ celebration and later forms a friendly rapport with him. 113 When Malekith uses the Aether to threaten the Nine Realms, Thor fights beside Luo Wen in Greenwich. Thor distracts Malekith and uses Selvig’s spacetime-distortion devices to sever the Dark Elf’s arms, while Luo Wen executes Malekith with the Twilight Sword. Thor then joins Luo Wen in striking the exposed Aether Core with Mjolnir and accepts Luo Wen’s custody of the Reality Stone. 113

After Odin’s death, Thor confronts Hela and later battles Thanos at Asgard. He loses an eye and is severely injured, but survives when Luo Wen intervenes against Thanos. Following Surtur’s destruction of Asgard, Thor leads the surviving Asgardians to settle on Earth. 143 145 146

In the Swallowed Star world’s cultivation system, Thor trains alongside Hong, Luo Wen, and Luo Feng. Driven by Luo Wen’s rapid advancement, he develops his own domain, rises through Star-Level cultivation, and gains recognition in major interstellar competitions. 164 184 195 254

Appearance

Thor is a muscular warrior who commonly wears battle attire suited to lightning-based combat.

  • Muscular arms with prominent veins when exerting power. 280
  • Wears a sleeveless black fitted battle suit during training. 280
  • Uses purple or blue lightning to envelop his body in combat. 275 452
  • Loses one eye during the battle against Thanos. 145

Personality

Thor is confident, direct, and highly enthusiastic about combat. He seeks out powerful opponents and initially tends to underestimate threats, though he accepts correction when his pride is challenged. 260 262

Despite his battle-minded nature, Thor respects capable rivals. He acknowledges Morr’s defensive techniques, praises Bella’s elemental control after their duel, and helps Cybertron to his feet after defeating him. 264 314 326

His later trials deepen his view of power. Fighting as an ordinary soldier against Beastmen, Thor learns that battle exists to protect others rather than to destroy them; Allen’s sacrifice reinforces this conviction. 439 440

Abilities & Skills

Thunder Law

Thor possesses exceptional affinity and control over lightning energy, allowing him to attack, defend, move, and cultivate through thunder-based power.

  • Absorbs and manipulates ambient lightning in Thunderbolt Gorge. 326
  • Uses battlefield lightning and his own Thunder Law to overwhelm mechanical lightning systems. 326
  • Cultivates on a planet of permanent thunderstorms, where he experiences strong resonance with its unique lightning. 305 306
  • Comprehends Chaos Lightning, a legendary thunder form capable of ignoring laws. 294

Ninefold Lightning Domain

Thor’s signature domain consists of nine layers of lightning energy. Its later layers possess unusual effects beyond ordinary lightning.

  • Uses lower layers to probe an opponent’s defenses and counter hostile domains. 264 275
  • The fifth and sixth layers exceed the absorption capacity of Morr’s Thunder Bulwark. 264
  • The final layers exhibit spatial, devouring, and interference properties. 265
  • The ninth-layer white lightning can produce space-tearing effects. 264

Lightning Techniques

Thor applies thunder energy through specialized offensive, defensive, and mobility techniques.

  • White Lightning Sky Burial — A powerful ninefold-domain attack using white lightning. 264
  • God of Thunder Descent — The core arcana of his Thunder Domain; summons a massive lightning pillar and breaks Moding’s Vacuum Domain. 275 276
  • Nine Heavens Thunder — A forbidden move that creates a colossal lightning pillar; it consumes roughly eighty percent of his energy. 314 315
  • Thunder Chains — Microscopic electric chains that bind and restrict water-based attacks. 314
  • Thunder Network — A network-form domain that releases electromagnetic pulses from interconnected nodes. 280 281
  • Electromagnetic Barrier — A rotating electromagnetic defense that redirects many incoming light attacks, though it has gaps. 280
  • Lightning Flash — A high-speed displacement technique that transforms Thor into lightning. 314
  • Thor’s Incarnation — A Lightning Secret Art that turns his body into purple lightning and triples his speed. 452
  • Myriad Thunder Convergence — An advanced Thunder Law technique used against Cybertron. 326

  • They test the fusion through attacks and defensive barriers. 281
  • They attempt to combine God of Thunder Descent with Hong’s Judgment of Light into a new fusion technique. 281

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Mjolnir — Thor’s divine hammer; used alongside Luo Wen’s Twilight Sword to destroy the Aether Core. 113
  • Thunder Cleaver — A lightning-amplifying blade set with six gems; concentrates and controls Thor’s lightning energy. 263 264
  • Thunder Battleblade — A later thunder-infused battle blade used with his Lightning Domain and Thunder Network. 274 280

Relationships
