Background / History

More than twenty years before recounting her past to Su Ling, Liu Erlong met Flender and Yu Xiaogang in a Soul Beast forest. The three became the Golden Iron Triangle, with Liu Erlong serving as its Horn of Slaughter. Her mother had been a woman of the brothel, and Liu Erlong joined the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan later in life 31 41 43 157.

She founded Blue Tyrant Academy in Heaven Dou City, accepted commoner Soul Masters, and personally taught its advanced class. The clan’s support helped her establish the academy on a large plot of land within the city 30 38 157.

Her longstanding attachment to Yu Xiaogang ended after he confessed that he had treated her as a replacement for Bibi Dong. Their blood relationship had also contributed to their separation. Liu Erlong returned his old gifts and explicitly severed all ties with him 40.

• Before rejuvenation: In her early forties but looks approximately thirty, with fair skin and a mature appearance 30 31 46.

Personality

Liu Erlong is stern with students and quick to act against misconduct. She orders Jiang Zhu, Huang Yuan, and Jing Ling back to cultivation when they interrupt her test of Su Ling, and punches Ma Hongjun away when he approaches her party with flirtatious intentions 31 36.

She values talent backed by effort. Su Ling’s determination to train while traveling earns her approval, and she arranges heavier training equipment for both him and her students. Her own cultivation is equally disciplined: during stays at the Lake of Life and the Breaking Clan, she spends most of her time cultivating indoors 33 36 121.

Her affection is intense, but she refuses relationships she does not want. She firmly rejects Flender’s romantic advances and cuts off Yu Xiaogang after learning the truth about his feelings. When accepting Su Ling, she insists that he never seduce and abandon women 40 44 45.

She prefers beautiful, quiet surroundings to city noise and lives in Shrek Academy’s undeveloped Back Hill. Despite joining the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan later in life, she feels enough belonging to remain behind and defend it against Spirit Hall 109 156 157.

Her original Fire Dragon is a true dragon martial soul mutated from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul. The Dragonflame Flower evolves it into Fire Dragon King, placing it among the strongest top-tier martial souls 31 46 150.
