"Welcome. Do you have a reservation?" As they entered the Jade House, a pretty young woman stepped forward and asked politely.
The Jade House's decor had a simple, elegant, old-world charm, with carved railings and jade masonry accented by sprays of baby's breath. A faint fragrance greeted them, refreshing the mind and lifting the spirits.
"Heaven Room Three. I have a reservation!" Ning Tian stepped forward and spoke without a change in expression, radiating an air of nobility.
Only people of distinguished standing could reserve the Heaven rooms. Not daring to slight them, the young woman bowed. "Please follow me!"
She led the group into Heaven Room Three, where the decor was even more elegant and refined. The walls looked as though they had been carved from fine white jade.
