The basement was a spacious open area, lined with cast metal on every side and equipped with numerous iron targets. This was the Experimental Area. Soul engineers could not be completely certain of the power of the soul tools they made, so many would test their finished creations to determine their power and effects. The villa's basement served this purpose. Though it could not accommodate tests of weapons capable of mass destruction, testing the effects of basic soul tools posed no problem.
The first floor contained the living room, guest rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms.
Some instructors took on apprentices, who would occasionally stay overnight in their teachers' residences. The guest rooms had been prepared for them.
The second floor housed the Laboratory and cultivation room, along with a separate study and a projection room where images and written materials could be projected.
The third floor was the private living area. It, too, had every amenity, with exceptionally luxurious furnishings and decor.
After looking over his new residence from top to bottom, Jiang Hai was quite satisfied. There was more than one bedroom on the third floor, enough to accommodate both him and Xue Linglong.
