The one hundred and eight soul cannons retracted, and researchers from the Civilization Research Institute inspected them one by one. Beneath those cannons, gun barrels emerged. The underside of Civilization's hull was densely packed with these barrels, gleaming with a cold metallic luster as they spat tongues of flame in unison.
