Huo Yuhao grew up in the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion, where he suffered persistent bullying and lived worse than an ordinary servant. His martial soul was nevertheless awakened at the customary age of six. His mother’s guidance preserved his kindness despite these conditions 7 56.

His father was the White Tiger Duke. Although Huo Yuhao hated him, he did not extend that hatred to the Star Luo Empire, which he regarded as his homeland. His personal grudge against Dai Huabin later became a major reason for seeking strength 7 43 46.

Bei Bei and Tang Ya brought him into the Tang Sect after his support helped them defeat a Mandala Snake. They assigned him the sect’s Shrek Academy exemption quota, allowing him to enter an academy whose normal admission requirements he could not meet 6 9 23.

Personality

Huo Yuhao is earnest, obedient, considerate, and exceptionally hardworking. Zhou Yi regards him as a model student and one of the most dedicated pupils she has taught. Jiang Hai particularly admires his perseverance, gratitude, and willingness to repay kindness 22 35 39 117.

His generosity can become stubborn self-sacrifice. He offers to surrender his Shrek admission opportunity first to spare Tang Ya trouble, then because Jiang Hai lost two years of cultivation through an unjustly delayed awakening. He maintains this decision despite Sky Dream’s objections 6 7 8.

He is deeply affected by rejection and by comparisons with stronger peers. Being excluded from the Martial Soul Department’s core-disciple list leaves him devastated, but Jiang Hai’s achievements also motivate him to prove himself openly rather than accept being treated as useless 51 106.

His loyalty encompasses the Tang Sect, Shrek Academy, and the Star Luo Empire. He believes in the Tang Sect founder’s divinity and refuses to accept his homeland’s destruction, while also opposing war because of the suffering it brings. Jiang Hai’s ideas about soul tools usable by ordinary people nevertheless resonate with the compassion instilled by his mother 56 251 256 469.

A rare spiritual, body-type martial soul with powerful perception and support applications. Its apparently white first ring is actually a million-year ring granting four soul skills 6 48 117.

• Spiritual Detection: Maps the battlefield and helps anticipate enemy movements. After his fourth-ring advancement, its range reaches six hundred meters, or twelve hundred meters in a straight line 49 256.
• Spiritual Sharing: Gives teammates access to his perceptions, enabling coordinated attacks and unusually precise battlefield awareness 48 107 131.

His second martial soul possesses ultimate ice and originates from the Ice Empress. Her soul ring and soul bone provide four skills in total, while strengthening his body and continuing to benefit him as his cultivation grows 96.

• Attribute suppression: Overwhelms ordinary elemental attributes; he frightens away a thousand-year Flame Lion King and earns full marks in the advancement assessment 107 108.
