• Jiang Hai reunited with Class Three and watched Sun Yunhai, Chen Yong, Wu Feng, and himself earn strong results in the advancement assessments.

Jiang Hai left Shrek Academy rather than accept its Inner Court requirements and joined East Cang Academy with Sun Yunhai. After helping build East Cang’s tournament team and crafting powerful soul tools, he reunited with the injured Shrek team as the tournament began.

• Xuan Zi ended the free-for-all with Jiang Hai, Huo Yuhao, Jiang Nannan, He Caitou, Wang Dong, and Xiao Xiao among the winners, then named Jiang Hai the first substitute for the tournament team.
• Jiang Hai and Sun Yunhai withdrew from Shrek Academy after Jiang Hai refused to join the Inner Court, and they traveled to Star Luo City to seek places on East Cang Academy’s team.
• Jiang Hai and Sun Yunhai passed East Cang Academy’s assessments, and Jiang Hai drew against Bingqin and Huo Wu before Wu Tong invited them onto the team.

East Cang Academy advanced through the round-robin stage and defeated Dou Ling Academy despite Jiang Hai killing Lone Bamboo Sword, securing a place in the knockout rounds. As the team prepared to face Blazing Plume Academy, Jiang Hai auctioned his research and acquired rare materials for his soul tools.

• Jiang Hai led East Cang Academy to a victory over Blue Xiang Academy by using Sun Yunhai’s illusions to conceal their positions and strike the artillery team from behind.
• Jiang Hai swept Heavenly Star Academy’s individual team, broke through to level 35, and helped East Cang defeat Tianlong Academy in a deciding group battle.
• East Cang Academy won its remaining group matches and qualified for the knockout rounds alongside Tianlong Academy.
• Jiang Hai defeated Dou Ling Academy’s fighters, then killed Lone Bamboo Sword with divine fire after Lone Bamboo Sword attacked him, and the tournament committee upheld East Cang’s victory.

Jiang Hai acquired the Snow Empress embryo, exposed Holy Spirit Cult agents, and led East Cang Academy through the tournament to the finals against Shrek Academy. East Cang won the team battle and took a lead in the individual matches, which left Jiang Hai facing Ma Xiaotao.

• Jiang Hai bought the hundred-thousand-year soul beast embryo, released the Snow Empress, and helped her reincarnate as Xue Linglong.
• Jiang Hai defeated Holy Spirit Cult agents in Star Luo City and revealed himself as Ji Bronze Coffin, then recovered at the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect while East Cang Academy advanced through the tournament.
• Jiang Hai returned to the competition and led East Cang Academy past Di'ao Academy and Star Luo Royal Academy, then said he planned to study soul tools in the Sun Moon Empire after the tournament.
• East Cang Academy defeated Shrek Academy in the finals team battle after Jiang Hai and Ma Xiaotao clashed across the divided arena, and Wang Yan conceded to protect Shrek’s competitors.
