Qian Renyue's lips twitched, and she rolled her eyes at Guang Ling.
Guang Ling laughed heartily, finding Qian Renyue utterly adorable like this. He wrapped his arms around her and clung to her the whole way like a child who would never grow up. Every so often, he would act cute for her, leaving Qian Renyue at a loss for what to say even when she was annoyed.
Amid their playful squabbling, the two soon arrived at Moonlight Pavilion.
The carriage stopped outside Moonlight Pavilion, and the driver said, "Miss, we're here."

Qian Renyue answered and motioned for Guang Ling to put on his mask. Guang Ling pouted, looking a little reluctant, but his hands obediently slipped the mask on.
The two stepped out of the carriage together.
Before Qian Renyue stood an enormous building. A crescent-shaped ornament hung above the main entrance, while decorations resembling plant branches wrapped around much of Moonlight Pavilion. Gold dominated its color scheme, and a red patterned welcome mat lay across the steps at the entrance, lending it an especially elegant air.
Moonlight Pavilion was the Heaven Dou Empire's school of court etiquette, a place dedicated to teaching all manner of aristocratic manners. What one could learn here was no less valuable than what one learned through experience in the outside world. For those who carried an aura of slaughter and needed to suppress it quickly, there was no better place to study.
