Su Qian gave Xiao Yan a look of disbelief.
"Xiao Yan, didn't you only recently become a Dou Sheng?"
A trace of worry showed on Su Qian's face.
"It's not that I don't trust you. It's just that every Demon Saint among these members of the Extraterrestrial Evil Race has been at the Dou Sheng level for who knows how many years, and their methods are bizarre and unpredictable. You may be very strong, but you probably don't have much experience fighting these creatures.
"If you ask me, you should hurry and summon the Xiao Clan's experts."
Su Qian looked at Xiao Yan worriedly, but Zi Yan interrupted his incessant chatter.
"Old man, relax. There aren't many people left in this world who can threaten my brother."
Su Qian glanced at the confident Zi Yan beside him, disbelief still written across his face.
Over the past few days, he had heard of quite a few battles between Demon Saints and human Dou Shengs. Given the terrifying vitality of the Extraterrestrial Evil Race, it was simply too difficult for an ordinary Dou Sheng to defeat a Demon Saint of the same level.
But although doubt lingered on his face, he said no more. He knew Xiao Yan's temperament fairly well. Since Xiao Yan was so confident, he presumably wouldn't be in any danger, at least.

Up in the sky, the ink-black demonic clouds suddenly twisted, and an enormous black face emerged upon them.
The black face was hideously savage, its blood-red eyes greedily fixed on the vast academy below.
He could clearly sense countless living beings dwelling within this ancient academy, which was as large as a city. If he could devour them all, even his Demon Saint cultivation level would surely benefit somewhat.
