• Xiao Yan’s auction earned 230 million gold coins, while Jia Xingtian and Mr. Kui Lou bought Emperor’s Extreme and Sect Breaking Pills before an attacker tried to seize the latter and was burned to ash by an unseen expert.
• Xiao Yan restored Yun Potian’s soul, and Yun Shan broke through to Dou Zong, and Xiao Yan then proposed an alliance with Jia Xingtian and the Misty Cloud Sect and promised to resurrect Yun Potian.

Xiao Yan grew closer to Xiao Yi Xian and Yun Yun while gathering the Seven-Colored Demon Saint’s reverse scales and recruiting magical beasts for his force. The seven scales converged above an ancient city and revealed the direction of the inheritance.

• Xiao Yan protected Xiao Yi Xian from the Greenwood Wolf Pack, then explored a cave with her and let her keep its treasures, including the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture.
• Xiao Yan confronted Mu Li and Mu She over their firearms, traced the weapons to a Hun Clan member, and later found Xiao Yi Xian alone and promised he could cure her Woeful Poison Body.
• Xiao Yan discovered the Netherworld Demon Serpent’s remains and learned that seven reverse scales would unlock the Seven-Colored Demon Saint’s inheritance and its Myriad Beast Spirit Flame.
• Xiao Yan cultivated in the basin, broke through to Nine-Star Dou Emperor, and grew closer to Xiao Yi Xian while refining her poison with the Yin-Yang Saint Flame.

Xiao Yan followed the Seven-Colored Little Snake to the Ancient City, where Queen Medusa inherited her ancestor’s bloodline and Xiao Yan refined a new heavenly flame. The arc ended with the Dou Sheng Ziran threatening the city, Xiao Yan calling in reinforcements, and powerful figures arriving as he completed his seclusion.

• Xiao Yan fought off waves of Dou Zong experts pursuing the seven scales, then trapped them with the Yin-Yang Reincarnation Cauldron and recruited Venerable Fuding and the Heavenly Snake Mansion Lord.
• The Seven-Colored Little Snake led Xiao Yan to an ancient city, where First-Generation Medusa revealed the Demon Saint inheritance and asked him to protect the current Queen Medusa.
• Xiao Yan offered the Snake-People Tribe its ancestor’s inheritance, and Medusa and her companions entered the Demon Saint’s hidden space.

Xiao Yan hunted down Ziran, recovered the Green Lotus Core Flame, and uncovered the Hall of Souls’ ties to a hidden Hun Clan lineage. After refining the flame and reaching Five-Star Dou Zong, he returned to the Jia Ma Imperial Capital, where Xiao Yi Xian struggled to feel at home among his partners.

• Xiao Yan reached Three-Star Dou Zong, advanced his Flame Mantra, and was named the Snake-People Tribe’s protector as the Golden Twelve Saints arrived and searched for Ziran.
• The Golden Twelve Saints captured Ziran, and Xiao Yan ordered his execution after Caiyu revealed his betrayal, and Xiao Yan then refined blood essence for the Snake-People women and sent them home with a guardian beast.
• Xiao Yan obtained both map fragments from Hai Bodong, rescued Qing Lin from her abusive relatives, and found the green lotus core flame missing from its magma cave.
