Xiao Yan secured the Green Lotus Core Flame, built Xiao Gate in the Black-Corner Region, and advanced to Dou Emperor while preparing for the Ruins of Return. He entered the ruins with Zi Yan and Qing Lin, where they found rare herbs and dragon saliva fire spirit grass.

• Xiao Yan took the Green Lotus Core Flame and lotus seat from the magma lake, then trained there until he reached peak Dou Wang and improved his physical strength.
