Spirit Hall, Douluo Hall.
Douluo Hall stood at the very summit of Spirit Hall's Divine Mountain, with the grandeur of a peak that towered above all others.
Compared with the Papal Palace, Douluo Hall was somewhat smaller, but enshrined within it were the titles of every Titled Douluo. In other words, this was the tomb of Titled Douluos.
There were no lavish decorations inside Douluo Hall. The entire structure was built from ancient, unadorned stone, yet a closer look revealed a faint golden glow shimmering over those stones.
At its very center stood a statue ten meters tall, brilliant gold from head to toe. Three pairs of wings spread from its back, and it held an enormous golden sword aloft, pointing straight toward the heavens.
Strangest of all, a faint layer of golden flame seemed to swirl around that sword.
This was the Angel God Statue that generations of the Qian Family of Spirit Hall had worshipped.
At that moment, a young woman knelt quietly before the Angel God Statue in the center of Douluo Hall.
Her long, wavy hair spilled down her back all the way to the floor. Her hands formed a peculiar gesture before her chest, thumbs interlocked and index fingers pressed together, while her other six fingers spread to either side, resembling a six-winged angel unfurling her wings.
Her exquisite face was filled with reverence. Her eyes were closed, and a faint halo of light enveloped her throughout.
"Xue'er, are you ready?"
As that majestic yet calm voice rang out, golden light surged. At some unknown moment, a figure had appeared between Qian Renxue and the enormous statue.
