After defeating the Half-Beasts and winning the Golden Generation’s trust, Zhao Su left Vast Sea City with Bibi Dong and Zhu Zhuqing close to him.

• Zhao Su and his allies drove Qian Renxue’s forces from the palace confrontation, and Zhao Su later left Heaven Dou City with Zhu Zhuqing as Spirit Hall’s war against the empires intensified.
• Zhao Su helped Bibi Dong fuse her martial souls into the Rakshasa Spider Emperor, then fought the King of Slaughter and survived the destruction of Slaughter City.
• Zhao Su returned to Heaven Dou City with Bibi Dong, learned the chamber of commerce had been attacked, and decided to seek strength at Ancient Ruins Mountain by challenging Sea God Island’s guardian.

Zhao Su entered Ancient Ruins Mountain with his companions, uncovered its divine dangers, and fought the forces aligned against him. After reuniting with Ning Rongrong and confronting Tang San’s growing influence, he headed toward Death Valley while their conflict sharpened.

• Zhao Su reunited with Ning Rongrong and Tang Yuehua, learned of Tang San’s growing control over the Heaven Dou Empire, and accepted their company on the journey to Ancient Ruins Mountain.
• After encountering Demon Whales and reaching Pearl Island, Zhao Su learned from Zi Zhenzhu that Ancient Ruins Mountain was another continent ruled by gods who absorbed souls and made survivors their puppets.
• Zi Zhenzhu opened the passage, scattering Zhao Su’s group, and Zhao Su later reunited with Hu Liena and joined Xuan Yuan Qing’er in saving her clan and destroying the Myriad Sword Sect.
• Zhao Su learned that Ning Rongrong had become the Divine Hall’s holy maiden, then found her and Zhu Zhuqing under attack and rescued them before refusing Shanggu Jiran’s offer of protection.
• Zhao Su defeated Huai Kong and the Buddha Lord, but the Sea God intervened when Ning Rongrong reached the Divine Origin Realm, and the companions set out toward the passage between the two continents.

• After searching unsuccessfully for Bibi Dong and Tang Yuehua, Zhao Su headed for Death Valley, burned the Tang Sect with Yan and Li Kai, and prepared to provoke the nearly godlike Eight-Headed Serpent.

Zhao Su and his companions pursued divine inheritances, confronted Tang San and rival factions, and uncovered Zhao Su’s divided soul and family history. The arc ended with the Death God entering Ancient Ruins Mountain as A Xing grew stronger in the death qi.

• Zhao Su encouraged Shanggu Fu, then Yan killed a Blazing Fire Nine-Headed Bird and gained its soul ring while Zhao Su gave him its external soul bone.
• Yan’s martial soul evolved into the Nine Suns Heavenly Flame, and Zhao Su sealed the Sun God’s trials within him before the group entered the cave where Qian Renxue stood with Tang San.
• Yan chose to enter the cave and attempt the trials as Zhao Su fought Tang San’s group, then followed his companions deeper after they drove the enemy away.
• Zhao Su protected Chen Xin while he refined the Ancient Sword God’s sword spirit, and a powerful presence later blessed Chen Xin with the spirit and its remnant soul.
• Zhao Su accepted Xuan Yuan Qing’er’s request to retrieve the Xuanyuan Sword, defeated Xuanyuan Junming’s ambush, and received the Xuanyuan Family’s fortune qi, which formed Hu Liena’s million-year soul ring.
• At Barbarian King Mountain, Li Kai completed the Savage God’s trials and became a demigod, while Zhao Su and Chen Xin fought Shen Fan and the pink-clad girl.
• Xiao Lu helped suppress Shang Shi’s soul within Zhao Su, who recovered memories of his divided soul and gave Ning Rongrong the Heaven Suppression Cauldron to refine.
• Cheng Feng revealed she was Zhao Su’s mother, restored his divine soul, and left to find his father after telling him to absorb the White Dragon’s divine soul.

• Wang Fei and his companions defeated the Fire God, Mad God, and Death God through divine forging and traps, but the Death God escaped into Ancient Ruins Mountain as A Xing grew stronger in the death qi.

Zhao Su broke free of Shang Shi and the Heaven-Quelling Lineage’s designs, became the God of Destruction, and gathered allies as the war spread across the Douluo Continent. After discovering the Witch Ancestor’s role in his origins and learning that the final struggle centered on the Heart of the Universe, he sailed toward Sea God Hall, where old conflicts and buried memories resurfaced.

• A Xing rejected the Death God’s possession, absorbed him into his scythe, and became the new Death God as Xi Yao confronted Blue Moon and reunited with Zhao Su.
• Zhao Su fused his remaining Holy Angel soul bones, released his complete divine soul, and joined Xi Yao and the others to destroy Shang Shi with the Annihilation Formation.
• Xiao Lu explained the Forbidden Land and the conflict between the Witch Ancestor, the Dao Ancestor, and Di Tian, while Zhao Su broke through the Forbidden Barrier and became the God of Destruction.
• Zhao Su returned to the Douluo Continent, subdued Tang Chen, and joined the battle at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where he drove off the Asura God and helped save Bibi Dong and the others.
