At the explosive boom high overhead and the icy fragments drifting down from the sky, the distant Soul Masters all felt their hearts tremble. Each weighed the attack inwardly, then realized in horror that the terrifying energy released from that silver spear could probably blast straight through Spirit City's gates!
"Another Peer... Peerless Douluo?" Watching the scene before him, Dugu Bo let out an astonished groan. "Has that brat Xiao Yan stirred up a whole nest of Peerless Douluos? I probably couldn't even intervene in a battle at this level."
With a slight flicker, the white-robed woman became an afterimage and appeared before Xiao Yan, thrusting her silver spear viciously at him as he approached.
Feeling the sharp force rushing toward him, Xiao Yan's expression shifted slightly. His right palm abruptly opened and aimed at the oncoming spear. After a brief pause, an enormous pillar of bone white flame shot forth.
The pillar of bone white flame collided violently with the silver spear. In an instant, a layer of bone-white ice spread rapidly outward, encasing the entire spear and preventing it from advancing even a fraction of an inch.
"Eight Extremes Collapse!"
The next second, a low shout rang out in Xiao Yan's heart. His fist suddenly tightened, and fierce force shook his smooth sleeve until it snapped and rustled. Then he punched out, striking the spear now completely encased in ice.

High in the distant sky, Xiao Yan and the white-robed woman faced each other. Dugu Bo finally hurried over, taking his place shoulder to shoulder with Xiao Yan as he watched the woman ahead. Hazy green vapor billowed between his palms.
