They began trying to operate the buttons and levers according to the flow sequence suggested by the runes. Mu Chen carefully pressed a button. The runes on the console flickered, and a subtle change rippled through the surrounding lattice of spiritual light. "It reacted. Let's keep going," Mu Chen said.
