Exploring the Cave

Mu Chen and Luo Li slowly advanced along the spiritual power vortex at the center of the cave, taking every step with extreme caution. The surrounding Spiritual Power Crystals gave off a soft, mysterious glow, illuminating the winding passage ahead, yet even within the light's reach, vast stretches of darkness concealed unknown dangers. The passage walls were damp and smooth, as though some kind of spiritual energy liquid was slowly flowing over them. Occasionally, a drop fell to the ground with a crisp sound that echoed through the silent cave, putting them on their guard. Both had heightened their spiritual energy perception to its utmost limit, ready at every moment to face any threat that might suddenly appear. "The spiritual energy fluctuations here are very unstable. We need to watch out for possible spiritual energy traps," Mu Chen warned in a low voice, his gaze constantly sweeping the walls and floor as he tried to catch the slightest anomaly. Luo Li nodded slightly. Light flickered along the Spiritual Power Sword in her hand, providing them with extra illumination. "Yes. That instability might come from the sealing power, or it could be the cave's own defensive mechanism." As they ventured deeper, ancient murals began to appear on either side of the passage. Their colors were vivid but mottled by the passage of time, depicting all manner of strange scenes and mysterious creatures. Some showed enormous Spiritual Power Beasts soaring through the sky, their outstretched wings seemingly large enough to blot out the heavens and the sun, the spiritual energy flames pouring from their mouths threatening to burn the entire world. Others depicted Spiritual Practitioners seated around an enormous spiritual energy array, their expressions solemn and reverent, as though they were conducting a ritual upon which the fate of the Spirit Road
