"Mike Jin Sephrano?"
"Yes."
"On the night of April 11, did you violate First University's campus regulations by appearing near Linzhong Lake?"
"Yes."
"Were you aware that you were within the jurisdiction of the Night Patrol Team at the time?"
"Yes."
"Were you aware that the Night Patrol Team had the right to use force against anyone who violated the campus regulations?"
"Yes."
"Did you use offensive magic against a member of the Patrol Team?"
An uneasy murmur rippled faintly through the white-robed students below, because Colma's question was highly leading. It was true that Sephrano had used offensive magic against the You Zui Hunter Team, but the other side had hardly been a helpless little white rabbit either. At most, it could be said that both sides were equally at fault.
Yet at that moment, Colma's question made it seem as though Sephrano had violated the rules first and attacked the patrol members afterward, deliberately choosing to do evil. The nature of the matter instantly appeared far more serious.
From another perspective, though, all of Colma's questions were factual inquiries, leaving no room for argument.
Sephrano fell silent for a moment before finally giving a simple one-word answer:
"...Yes."
"What was your purpose in appearing there?" Colma continued.
The Fat Wizard silently watched Colma as she asked the questions, remaining quiet for a long while. Without a doubt, this was another question with a trap hidden inside it. If Sephrano did not want to violate the rules of the questioning, he could only remain silent. The witch, however, showed no embarrassment whatsoever. She merely waited for his answer, staring at him with a sharp gaze.
The moderator seated in the center of the dais gave a soft cough and tapped the small wooden gavel before him. "Given the special
