The twelfth week's regular meeting was very brief.
Professor Yao supposedly had urgent matters to attend to and merely sent a projection to the classroom. After a brief summary and arrangement of tasks, the projection dispersed on its own, leaving the students throughout the room staring at one another.
Liu Feifei was the first to recover her senses.
Only seconds after Professor Yao's projection vanished, she jumped up from her seat and ran out of the classroom with her books and review materials in her arms. A burst of good-natured laughter rose behind her. Everyone knew she was going to study with Nicholas.
Since the incident at Linzhong Lakefront, Nicholas had not appeared in the Astronomy 08-1 classroom for an entire week. Liu Feifei had helped him keep up with all his coursework and submitted all his assignments for him.
Dunton stood up right after Liu Feifei.

These exams will determine whether you can advance to the second year, so make the most of your time and work through past papers a few more times!... Is anyone applying to go to the library or study hall together to save seats?"
Several students immediately raised their hands in response to the Class Monitor's call.
With finals approaching, seats in both the library and study halls had become scarce. Many students had begun forming groups to help one another claim spots. One person carrying seven or eight books could often take up an entire large table. It was not a particularly pretty sight, but at a critical time like this, no one could afford to care.
