One had turned into a cat, while the other had ended up with a crooked mouth, crossed eyes, and drooling, nearly kidnapped and harvested for organs.
Just thinking about it was depressing.
For another, they did not want to bring Colmar any new trouble—Zheng Qing had no idea that Colmar had watched his fight. In the young publicly funded student's narrow yet fairly informed understanding, the situation in Beta Town North District was already sensitive because of Sacrificial Magic. If First University or the Wizard Alliance used "hunting Dark Wizards" as an excuse to make a huge fuss and spark fresh, even greater conflicts with the North District Wizards, that would be unforgivable.
So, in the unspoken silence shared by the two young wizards, the matter quietly passed.
Of course, out of concern for both risk and duty, after returning to school, Zheng Qing still sent Senior Colmar a paper crane. He briefly described what had happened that evening and reminded her to clean up the Dark Wizards who had recently become somewhat rampant in the North District.
