Bookshelves reaching all the way to the ceiling lined the room, crammed with books of every kind. The North District Great Sage found the sight especially enviable. Even with the North District's vast size and its many North District Wizards, they could not amass a library with such rich holdings.
Yes, in Colmar's view, this reception room could entirely be called a library. She had no doubt that the collections on these shelves alone would be enough for a North District Wizard to study for a lifetime.

A surprisingly familiar voice came from midair. Colmar looked toward the sound and saw the plump witch who had just brought her here slowly climbing down a ladder, panting heavily.
She appeared to have been organizing the bookshelves.

She turned back toward the entrance. The dark red door had already been tightly shut, but she remembered clearly that the plump witch
