A heavy crash rang out nearby, interrupting the Misty Captain's conversation with the two Arch Liches. It frowned and turned around, looking at the figure slowly rising amid the smoke and dust.
"You damaged my ship."
The Misty Captain spoke calmly. "We're not really enemies... If I said I sleepwalked here by accident, would you believe me?"
"I would. Why wouldn't I?" Professor Yao bit down on his pipe, shook the dust from his robes, and strolled toward the three Great Demons. He replied coldly, "But just like a bookworm thief who accidentally breaks into the Trident Sword Office... even if it was unintentional, it doesn't prevent the Trident Swords from arresting it. So, Misty, and the other two, you're all under arrest."
Several demons that had just crawled out of the cabin onto the deck saw the red-robed figure close at hand. They roared and charged at him, then, unsurprisingly, flew back even faster, adding several broken walls and snapped masts to the Misty.
"Can't you show a little flexibility?" The Misty Captain glanced at the damage on its ship and spread its hands with great sincerity. "Like the things reckless children do... this really was an accident."

Beside him, Mark Brigette, the Chronomancer, stepped forward.
"Heh, repentance?!" Leaning on his long staff, its tip angled slightly forward as though casually aimed at the approaching dean of Jiuyou Academy, he sneered. "Like you? Yesterday, we were still sitting together, savoring the taste of 'memories.' Today, you've put on robes and pretended to be a wizard... What should I call you? Professor Yao of First University...
