"We can't let those vermin keep breeding."

"Since they've already gathered together."

"This is perfect... we can wipe them all out at once."

"It won't be easy. The monsters Ulrich concocted will be hard to destroy completely with ordinary Lightning Spells or Fire Spells... That thick shell on their bodies can ignore most magical attacks."

"They have strong mental resistance too. I just tried it—illusions are difficult to make work, and low-level control magic is useless. If the intensity is even a little higher, their brains explode into mush... Clearly, those crafty Arch Liches won't give us a chance to turn the tables."

"Tilda, you've studied Chimera Spells the most. Do you have any ideas?"

Above the battlefield before the inner fortress.

Several deans of First University noticed the Mi-Go Imperial Worm Hybrids gathered together one after another. After a brief discussion, they handed the matter over to Alpha Academy's acting dean.

Archwizard Tilda Strange coldly watched the small patch of pink scar tissue at the edge of the battlefield below. Silently opening the spellbook in her hand, she used her Quill Pen to sketch on the page for a moment. At last, she nodded slightly, paused her pen, and softly chanted:

"On leather straps are orioles; in repose lies blazing light!"

A crisp sound like clashing bronze bells rang out from the void, endless and unceasing. Falling upon the Mi-Go Imperial Worm Hybrids, the sonic waves shattered the heavy armor on their backs, exposing the pale, tender, soft tissue beneath.

Then dazzling light bloomed, as though hundreds of noonday suns had flared to life at once. Stripped of their protection, the insects let out piercing shrieks beneath that aggressive radiance. They writhed, but before they could put up any meaningful struggle, they slowly became grotesque statues of charred black.
