From within the Octagonal Tower came Grand Diviner Mister Zhuge's calm, clear voice. It rang across the entire battlefield as he answered Captain Mist's questioning:
"Although we can release a Forbidden Curse at any time now, a Forbidden Curse would destroy the entire world, including all the wizards within it... We aren't as crazy as you. We won't drag the entire world down with us over a few fruits or a few demons."
"This isn't a Forbidden Curse. It's merely a Magic Array with slightly greater power."
"We gave it a name: the Heaven and Earth Profound Yellow Great Array."
At this point, he paused.
A moment later, his voice rang out again. Compared to before, it sounded colder and louder. Every word shook the heavens and earth, answering the resonant sound of the Yellow Bell Great Tripod echoing across the world. It was as if he wasn't merely offering an explanation, but reciting the incantation from a spellbook word by word:
