Two Weak Leg Curses, one Fatigue God, and one Dazzling spell struck the black shadow at once, in no particular order, leaving it rigid in midair for a fleeting instant.
At that moment, a light shout rang out from not far down the street.

A Little Witch with a dot of cinnabar between her brows leaped down from some rooftop, swung her tiny pale fist, and smashed it heavily into the black smoke's head, knocking it to the ground.

Bluish gravel flew everywhere, rattling the doors and windows of the surrounding shops, while a web of cracks spread across the ground.
At the center of the web lay a bald wizard in black robes, with a gray sack beside him. No one knew where the bald wizard had come from. His scalp was covered in twisted, grotesque black tattoos, like pythons or octopuses. Several lines even extended from the corners of his eyes, perhaps carved right into his eyeballs.
Robert struggled to his feet, his gaze falling first upon the black-robed wizard. Seeing that the man was unconscious, he let out a heavy sigh of relief.
Only then did he look at the gray burlap sack beside the bald wizard. The sack was not large, barely a meter long, and its opening was tied tightly with a rawhide cord. Something alive seemed to be struggling fiercely inside, pressing bumps of varying sizes into the fabric.
"Ge Zhi Tan Xi!"

"Slumber Without Hearing!"
Four or five spells flew in from afar in quick succession, landing on the unconscious Dark Wizard, draining his strength, plunging him into sleep, and binding him tightly.
