Thanksgiving had never been a holiday at Jiu You Academy.
But this year, the Jiuyou campus was livelier than ever on Thanksgiving.
The "Give Me a Frog" movement, launched some time ago by the Spellbook Liberation Association and the North District Wizards, had been gathering momentum. Now it had stirred up a mood that left the campus in an uproar.
Thanksgiving gave them the perfect opportunity to revisit the North District Wizards' contributions to First University, and even to The Alliance as a whole. Those contributions included not only the enormous sacrifices North District residents had made in the Lich War to win recognition as wizards, but also the foundation they had laid for Beta Town's growth through long years of cheap labor and lives cheaply spent. For all of that, everyone owed the North District Wizards thanks.
And what better way to thank them than to give them plenty of places at the university?
