Boom!
The tree, snapped cleanly in half, toppled into the snow with a low, muffled crash, kicking up a cloud of powder like smoke and dust. It glittered beneath the pale sky, looking remarkably like the shade of lipstick in Mu Shi Niang's latest collection.
When this was over, she would definitely buy a tube, no matter how much it cost!
The lipstick she had seen not long ago flashed through Linda Barnes's mind as she thought viciously to herself. Yet her hands did not hesitate in the slightest. She flipped to the last page of her spellbook and cast a Binding Spell every student knew well:
"Ge Zhi Tan Xi, bind this dragon!"
Dozens of thick vines burst through the snow like great serpents clad in white scales, hissing as they lunged at the enormous figure circling overhead.
Their opponent was a Green Flood Dragon.
As the countdown to the third day of the winter hunt began, the Green Flood Dragon had suddenly entered the Patrol Team's field of vision, flying straight toward the winter hunting grounds without the slightest attempt at concealment.
The Patrol Team had no choice but to act, attempting to intercept it.
In truth, Linda was not entirely sure whether they should classify it as a "flood dragon." Compared with a normal flood dragon, that "Green Flood Dragon" had far too many abnormalities—for instance, its belly was far too large. It looked like a python that had swallowed an elephant whole. She had no idea how that long, slender neck had supported such an enormous stomach. In a sense, compared to the Eastern suborder's flood dragons, this monster resembled the Ukrainian Ironbelly of the Western suborder more closely—except that it possessed a perfectly standard flood dragon's head.
