Today, however, he was seated on the stage, cradling a teacup in his hands and smiling as he surveyed the room, watching these Edge Academy preparatory students struggle to finish their papers.
Sure enough, being a teacher was much more comfortable than being a student—and as a placement-test proctor, he had it much easier than Zhang Huaigu, who had proctored his exam back then.
That was because he did not need to devote all his attention to maintaining order in the examination room. The red-robed student beside every green-robed student was a qualified supervisor, saving him a great deal of trouble.

An enormous sneeze disturbed the quiet examination room, drawing many angry glares as people turned their heads. It also caught Zheng Qing's attention.
The one who had sneezed was Yin Shini, from the Linzhong Lake Merfolk Tribe and one of the hunters of the Edge Hunting Team. It was currently seated in the last row of the classroom.
Its admission to Edge Academy had not surprised Zheng Qing.
The merfolk occupied a very delicate position at First University. One could say they were part of the school, yet no young merfolk attended First University; one could say they were not part of First University, yet old merfolk could serve as professors there, while young merfolk could participate in First University hunting competitions.
