If there was any news after the new year capable of capturing the attention of most wizards in the world, it was undoubtedly the confirmation that First University's Edge Academy had been established.
Ever since the news spread at a certain Legendary Wizard's class meeting the day before the semester began, discussion of the New Academy had remained at a boiling point for an entire week. As the news fermented, however, those discussing it shifted from within First University to outside the school, spreading from within the Alliance to the New World, the outer Starry Sky, and even demon and monster communities. The focus of discussion also gradually shifted from the impact of the New Academy's establishment to more detailed matters, such as whether Evil God worship groups counted as Edge Wizards, whether New World natives had the right to enroll in Edge Academy, and so on.
As Dr. Duzem, who had been fortunate enough to reach a cooperation agreement with Edge Academy, he had naturally heard the words "Edge Academy" quite often lately.
But when those four words came from one of Edge Academy's two vice deans, they carried an entirely different weight.
