The news of Dormitory 403 being invaded had far less impact than the young wizards had expected.

Granted, part of the reason was that Zheng Qing and the others had all signed Silent Contracts—this time, the investigators had made the three people and one cat sign them as soon as they arrived at the dormitory, rendering Fatty Xin's painstakingly devised loophole useless before he even had a chance to try it—so news of the boys' dormitory being invaded did not cause the slightest stir on campus.

But the larger reason was that the two staff members sent by the school did not seem to believe this had been a malicious intrusion.

The young wizards' account was simply too bizarre, far beyond what two routine investigators could accept. Or rather, the "malice" they were willing to acknowledge did not extend to the possibility of a Dark Wizard appearing in a school dormitory.

"Dark Wizard? Raven?"

The old wizard in gray robes repeated those two terms with a grave expression. His Quill Pen hovered in midair, refusing to fall on the clipboard for a long while. Frowning, he looked at Xiao Xiao. "Do you know what you're saying? One of the most heavily guarded places at First University, one of the safest places on Puji Island, was invaded by a group of nobodies?"

Zheng Qing could not help digging at his ear. He seemed not to be hearing that sort of "safest" and "most heavily guarded" claim for the first time. Whether it had been the Special Plane when they first enrolled, the academy's inner court, or later the Black Prison, all had been touted as impregnable fortresses, yet that had not stopped demons from coming and going as though no one were there.

"They weren't nobodies... that Raven is very formidable!"
