The president of Jiuyou Academy lightly interrupted the First University vice principal's reproach. He toyed with the pipe in his hand, pinching a small bundle of golden tobacco from the void with his fingertips and slowly packing it into the bowl.
Professor Emma stared at the "slender tobacco strands" rolling and struggling between Old Yao's fingers, at the neat, beautiful scales covering them—in the eyes of a Legendary Wizard, those strands were not dead objects, but golden flood dragons struggling and wailing. Her gaze did not waver in the slightest.
"It is truth that is correct. It is the correctness of the Book of Revelation."
The witch shifted her gaze from the "tobacco strands" to the face of the office's owner across the desk. Looking at his tiny black eyes, shining like beetles, she softly repeated the words from the Book of Revelation: "—The voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying: Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel.
—And I went unto the angel, and said unto him: Give me the little book. And he said unto me: Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be sweet as honey in thy mouth.
—And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up.
—And it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter."
The Book of Revelation was the work of the ancient prophet Saint John, recording many of his prophecies. Though he attributed those visions to the grace of the Holy Spirit, many modern scholars believed that they were scenes he had observed while
