Rough blue-gray bricks stretched from the floor to the ceiling. There were no ornate decorations or murals between the lofty domes, nor was there a single pane of glass in the entire hall. All the light in the room came from the Cthulhu Fire burning in sconces along the walls. They had burned silently here for centuries.

The only things in the hall that could be called decorations were probably the dozen or so massive engaged columns along the four walls. Their style lay somewhere between Ionic and Corinthian, except their capitals were not baskets brimming with acanthus leaves, but Bi'an heads holding charters in their mouths, blue-faced and baring ferocious fangs. They bowed their heads, their round eyes staring unblinkingly at every corner of the hall, upholding Danhaag's majesty and solemnity.

Before the hall doors opened, the Legends attending today's hearing had already arrived one after another and held several small private meetings.
