In the sky, that twisting mass of seven-colored light orbs seemed to have suddenly been rubbed by an enormous invisible eraser. Great chunks of it vanished into the void, while the countless threads of radiant light surrounding it rapidly dissipated as well, leaving behind crisscrossing traces.
For that instant, the entire world seemed to become transparent.
Watching this scene,
Morris felt as though he could hear the sound of himself using an eraser as a child.
Squeak, squeak!

The piercing sounds screamed intermittently in his mind, making it impossible for him to tell illusion from reality. Was there truly an eraser wiping away those seven-colored rays, or were those rays not lifeless things at all, crying out in despair before death?
But the shrill sounds lasted only a short while.
Very soon, that erasing power weakened. More than half of the seven-colored rays remained in the void, stubbornly spread around that "Order" wizard. As the erasing force vanished, they rebounded violently.
Countless seven-colored rays began to gather of their own accord, tangling together and condensing into nearly tangible seven-colored points of light in midair. Like sprouting seeds, long, winding tendrils stretched out from those points, piercing through the void and spreading into depths no one could comprehend.
At this moment, time lost all meaning.
It seemed to have taken only the blink of an eye.
Yet it also seemed as though countless years had passed.
The instant those "seeds" were born, they simultaneously completed a whole series of transformations: sprouting, growing, blooming. Great clusters of gorgeous halos replaced the "seeds" in the void, like blossoming Seven-Colored Flowers.
